Custom Log Cabin Construction
Country Cabin Log Homes will work with you to fully design, build, and finish your custom log cabin to meet your budgetary needs. We can stay with you through every step of the process, from conception and implementation of designs to finishing the interior of your new log cabin! Alternatively, you may choose to hire us for whatever portion of the construction process with which you need help. Contact us with any specific inquiries about your project.
Log Shell - A great alternative to "kit" log cabins
A "shell' is a fully constructed exterior log cabin. We deliver and assemble it on your site, unlike alternative "kit" solutions offered by our competitors. You get a genuine Vermont product, and you are only responsible for finishing the interior. If you like, we can even do that for you! Please see Custom Log Cabin for more information.
Our Materials:
- Log System - 7 1/2" diameter, White Pine double tongue and groove logs, double row of Norton Log Home Foam gasket material, and Oly-Log lag screw fasteners.
- Windows - Andersen High-Perf. Windows and Therma-Tru insulated steel doors.
- First Floor System - complete with 2x10 joists, 3/4" plywood sub-floor, pressure treated sill, sill seal, and main beam with supporting columns.
- Second Floor System - exposed beam system with 4x8 joists, 8x8 beam and posts, 2x6 T & G flooring.
- Roof System - 2x rafters, 1/2" plywood finished overhangs, 1x Pine trim, read for the roofer.
- Delivery - all materials delivered to your site. Remember our materials are expertly erected on your site, not just dropped off.
